Sol Naciente is an animated graphic novel that I directed as my thesis at San Jose State University. The story is about a young boy who wants to be a great luchador like his dad. The story is based off my relationship with my own dad who I view as my hero. The way the graphic novel works is that the panels that are highlighted orange are animated. Simply click the panel and the animation will play.  The graphic novel is also accompanied by original music that changes as you continue to read.
